Problems/Comments

Drain in diked area where lube oil is stored leaked 30 barrels (approximately 1,650 gallons) of product. Vacuum trucks have picked up some oil and contaminated soils were to be excavated. Impact to human health or total extent of contamination is unknown. Did a file search on 5-17-2006 and was unable to find the file. This site is being worked as the UNOCAL Ammonia Urea Plant, File Number 2323.38.032, Reckey:1988230918305. Information was derived from contaminated sites follow-up report in the Kenai district office on 6/4/1991.
