Problems/Comments

This site is associated with UST TU/US-C522 and is included in the CS database as two individual sites, an active leaking underground storage tank (LUST) site (Haz ID: 23248 “King Salmon AS – Bldg #160 Combat Alert Cell”) and an active contaminated sites program (CSP) site (Haz ID: 1581 “King Salmon Combat Alert Cell”). The tank was closed in 2016 and no additional contamination was found. There is remaining TCE/PCE contamination at the site, but this is not the result of a release at the tank and is being managed under the Zone 2 groundwater monitoring program. Contaminant Information

Name Level Description Media Comments
DRO < Method 2 Most Stringent Soil Low detection of DRO, RRO & GRO were found but none of the surface soil, subsurface soil or groundwater samples exceed ADEC Method Two most stringent cleanup levels. The conclusion is that no soil or groundwater contamination exists at the Site above ADEC cleanup levels in relation to diesel formerly stored within UST 104. There is remaining PCE/TCE problem but they are not considered related to UST 104 and will continued to be addressed in GWZ2 Long Term Management.
