Problems/Comments
During the excavation of a culvert, petroleum contaminated groundwater was encountered. The origin of the oil is unknown, but possible was released in 1974 by a Housing and Urban Development (HUD) contractor. The contaminated groundwater was found across the street from the suspected release site. Jim Hopkins now owns the suspected release site.
