11/9/2004 Update or Other Action The FAA is preparing to transfer this property back to ADOT&PF. Soil samples were collected on the boundary of this property and the adjacent Lot 7A to confirm that contamination from this property has not impacted Lot 7A. DRO was detected up to 1,310 mg/kg and benzene up to 0.0241 mg/kg. This site was closed in 1995. CS staff prepared a letter reiterating that additional remedial work is not required at this site. Following the property transfer, ADOT&PF plans to expand the airport apron and remaining contamination will be capped with several feet of gravel. Sharon Richmond
