Problems/Comments

One 150-gallon and one 1,000-gallon generator daytanks installed in 1979 were decommissioned in place in 1998. Staining evident at the surface of the 1,000-gallon tank. Petroleum concentrations above Method Two migration to groundwater documented below ground surface (bgs). Site is also listed on the Contaminated Sites database due to multiple potential sources that are not related to these Leaking Underground Storage Tanks (LUSTs).

There is no longer a risk to human health or the environment, and this site will be designated as closed on the Department's database. This determination is in accordance with 18 ACC 75.380 and does not preclude DEC from requiring additional assessment and/or cleanup action if future information indicates that this site may pose an unacceptable risk to human health or the environment.
