Problems/Comments
During the removal of two 18,000 gallon diesel, and two 500 gallon gasoline underground storage tanks on September 30 to October 7, 1991, DRO & GRO soil contamination was encountered as a result of overfilling and leaky piping. Groundwater was not encountered during removal. Approximately 300 cubic yards of diesel and 60 cubic yards of gasoline contaminated soils was excavated and treated on site by natural aeration and degredation with fertilizer.
