Problems/Comments

Contaminated soils were encountered during the removal of 1,000-gallon and 3,000-gallon regulated underground storage tanks. Approximately 20 cubic yards of contaminated soil was placed in a land farming cell on site for treatment. Analytical results verified that diesel range organics, gasoline range organics, and benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) levels exceeded site cleanup levels for soil. Contaminated soils also remain in place.
