Problems/Comments

Maintenance Building also known as M & O bldg. Is separate area from State Equipment Fleet (SEF) Shop. USTs were removed Sept 1995. Approx. 240 cu yds contaminated soil was thermally treated. Estimated that 700 cu. yds. contamaminated. soil remained under/around dispenser area. A Passive air venting system (perf pipe) for soils was installed (w/o any blower). In 2017 additional 20 cu yds of soil were excavated and a building addition was added for the traffic operations center. The perf pipe was removed and a passive and active sub-slab depressurization system was installed. Sub-slab, indoor air and outdoor air including stack exhausts) are monitored under CIP project.
