Problems/Comments

This source area consisted of two USTs at the Tanacross Airfield Site Administrative Facility (TASAF) located on the south side of the Alaska Highway. The USTs were used to store gasoline (source area #14) and avgas(source area #15). The USTs were removed in 1997. Soil sampling and groundwater was sampled in 1997, with low PID and soil sample readings for GRO and DRO. Groundwater was also sampled in 2016. 2016 Groundwater results showed no exceedances. Closure process begun in February 2019.
