Problems/Comments

Petroleum contamination (DRO) and perchloroethylene (PCE) detected in soil and groundwater samples above SCL & GCL; however, nearby samples did not show detectable contamination. Consultant suggested extent of contamination is sufficiently characterized, but recommended inclusion of site into Contaminated Sites Database if the site is ever disturbed and investigative or remedial actions were required. Contamination was identified during DEC's Weeks Field Airstrip Study in 2007 (see File Number 102.57.004).
