Problems/Comments

In October 2008 two monitor stoves were stolen from a main residence and a detached guest house at 3573 Rosie Creek Road. The fuel lines were separated from the stoves and heating fuel from the aboveground storage tanks drained into the structures, saturating the floors and seeping into the crawlspace and underlying soil. During initial remediation, the guest house was razed and contaminated soil was removed from the footprint of the former structure and from the crawlspace of the main residence. Results from an October 2009 sample from the on-site drinking water well reported non-detect for BTEX constituents.
