Problems/Comments
The 300-gallon UST is located on a steep, rocky slope adjacent to Building B on the south side of the ridge. The tank was closed in place in 2000. Sludge collected from the tank was disposed of offsite. A sample taken directly beneath the UST was analyzed for DRO, GRO, RRO, lead, and SVOCs. DRO was the only analyte detected at 29,300 mg/KG. Two samples were taken in 2001 at 3 feet bgs downgradient of the site to determine if DRO was migrating, however it was not detected.
