Problems/Comments

In 2000, during cleanup activities by the Prevention and Emergency Response Program (PERP) of a methamphetamine lab, an estimated 30-gallon used oil spill was floating on a large water puddle in the area. There was also an additional water puddle that appeared to contain a green sheen possibly contaminated with glycol. Two surface water samples were collected by PERP. One sample detected 958 milligrams per liter of total petroleum hydrocarbons. The other sample did not detect glycol. Spill number 00309914402. PERP file number 100.02.218. Spill date 5/23/2000.
