Action Date Action Description DEC Staff
8/15/2002 Update or Other Action Summit Siding Field Observations and Sampling ARRC MP 312.5, dated 8/15/2002, submitted by SMS Environmental and recieved by the ADEC on this date. The fuel residue on site is believed to be historic and signifantly weathered. The area of fuel residue is 20 feet by 30 feet. Upon inspection, fuel odor and sheen were released when the organic mat was disturbed on the day of inspection, but were not otherwise observable. The organic mat consists of peat and decaying vegetation, which may contribute to high hydrocarbon results in the soil samples. Soil samples indicate GRO up to 410 mg/kg and DRO up to 100,000 mg/kg. The site is periodically visted by ARRC workers Grant Lidren
