Problems/Comments

Transformer leak discovered by HEA on September 29, 2003. Preliminary assessment completed, DRO soil contamination samples were non-detectable for PCB.

Description Details
When Contaminated Soil is Accessible, Remediation Should Occur Should activities at the site provide access to the contaminated soils beneath the transformer, additional assessment and/or corrective action will be required at that time.
Advance approval required to transport soil or groundwater off-site. Standard condition.
Movement or use of contaminated material (including on site) in a manner that results in a violation of the water quality standards is prohibited (18 AAC 70) Standard condition.
Other Please provide documentation on the removal and proper disposal of the drum of approximately 20 gallons of contaminated water that was removed from the excavation.
