Problems/Comments

Historic petroleum contamination at the location or a previous onsite pole barn, located in the NE corner of the property. Used in the past to park and service vehicles. Reported by site manager Ed Lamb.

Metadata includes no Topo Basemap, TopoZone Pro Street Map, Black and White Aerial Photo, on a Medium Size Map, View Scale 1:10,000, Coordinate Datum NAD83. 8/22/2005 Cleanup Plan Approved Review and approve Initial Response Action Work Plan. Suggested that 2 - 3 soil samples from the areas of worst contamination be analyzed for chlorinated solvents, unless site documentation shows they were not used at the facility. Donald Seagren

RP would like to load contaminated soil into dump trucks and haul directly to ASR in Anchorage, rather than stockpiling for the winter. Gave verbal approval to proceed. 9/6/2005 Update or Other Action Provided written approval to work plan revision. The contaminated soil will be loaded directly into 40yd3 side dump trucks and hauled directly to ASR in Anchorge for thermal remediation. Donald Seagren
10/3/2005 Update or Other Action Telephone call from Arne Tikka. Approx 100 - 150 yds3 of contaminated soil hauled to ASR in Anchorage for thermal remdiation. Approval to backfill the excavation based on verbal reporting of analytical results. Alll confirmation sampling results below ADEC cleanup levels. Written report will follow. Donald Seagren
10/20/2005 Site Characterization Report Approved Reviewed spill cleanup report dated 14 October 05. 700 yds3 of contaminated soil taken to ASR in Anchorage for thermal remediaiton. Confirmation sampling in excavation shows all remaining contaminant levels below ADEC cleanup levels. Site closure will be issued upon receipt of ASR post treatment analytical report. Donald Seagren
8/21/2006 Update or Other Action sent letter to Ed Lamb, E&J Enterprises requesting a copy of the ASR post treatment analytical report. Onc eth report is reviewed, a sit eclosure decision will be issued. Donald Seagren
1/16/2007 Update or Other Action After reviewing the file, the consultant was called. Left a message that a way out of the delima of the RP not responding is to hav ethe consultant &/or RP have ASR release the post treatment report directly to me.
