Problems/Comments

A 1,000-gallon underground heating oil tank was removed in 2004. Confirmation samples contained DRO and GRO below ADEC cleanup levels, however benzene was found at concentrations up to 9.29 mg/kg in subsurface soil. Site is adjacent to surface water body, Section House Lake, and is approximately 1.5 miles NE of the Sustitna River.
