Problems/Comments
A 1,000-gallon underground heating oil tank was removed on 5/11/07 and replaced by another tank adjacent to this location. Soil samples from beneath the fill tube and under the center of the tank detected soil contaminated with diesel range organics above ADEC human health cleanup levels. BTEX results were non-detect. Groundwater was not encountered during excavation activities but is assumed to be contamination as a result. It is estimated about 75 feet to the edge of the tarmac to the north, and 30 feet to property boundary to the west.
