PORTABLE. Portable
Facilities are approved on a site-specific basis as part of the cleanup
plan or corrective action plan by the DEC project manager for the project
site or facility. If the portable unit moves to another project site or
facility, the company must to reapply for approval for the new site. Any
soil moved offsite must have approval from DEC before transfer of contaminated
soil from the project site. Portable Facilities must comply with requirements
in Alaska UST Regulations, 18 AAC 78.273 and Contaminated Sites Regulations,
18 AAC 75.365 that are applicable to portable facilities. The following
companies are believed to own and operate portable soil treatment equipment.
