2017 North Pole Saturation Study - Data Map

This map shows data collected by low-cost pDR-1500 monitors during the 2017 North Pole Saturation Study Monitoring Project around the North Pole Hurst Road monitoring site as 1-hour averages in 1-hour increments. The color scale is based on EPA's AQI color scheme.  The hourly concentrations, however, are not an actual representation of an AQI value, which requires multiple hours of data to calculate.

Good
0.0 - 12.0 µg/m3
Moderate
12.1 - 35.4 µg/m3
Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups
35.5 - 55.4 µg/m3
Unhealthy
55.5 - 150.4 µg/m3
Very Unhealthy

Map Instructions

Users can advance through the data set using the date slider bar. Pressing the "play" button will cause the map to advance in one-hour increments automatically; the automatic advance can be turned off by pressing the "pause" button. Manually sliding the circle forwards or backwards along the gray line will move the map to a desired time frame.  Users can then use the "left" or "right" arrows to advance the map forwards or backwards in one-hour increments. Click on any of the colored icons to view the site name and the 1-hour average PM2.5 concentration in µg/m3.
