General Operation Permits (100 TPY to <250 TPY)

The Application forms below are accurate as of March 17, 2022 for GPA and March 24, 2022 for GP3. The Compliance Review and Emission fees for General Permits have been revised since the permit and applications were written. GPA and GP3 fees from 18 AAC 50 as amended through September 7, 2022

General Minor Permits (Under 100 TPY)

MG3 Asphalt Plant and MG9 Rock Crusher minor general permits were updated to MG3 Rev. 4 and MG9 Rev. 3 that went into effect April 1, 2023.

New Compliance Fees and Emission Fees went into effect on September 7, 2022

The Compliance Review and Emission fees for General Permits have been revised since the permit and applications were written. MG3 and MG9 fees from 18 AAC 50 as amended through September 7, 2022

MG1 Oil and Gas Drilling Rig

MG1 Permit, forms, and supporting documents have been revised as of July 1, 2023.

The Permit Administration, Compliance Review, and Emission fees for the MG1 Permit have been revised since the permit and applications were written. MG1 fees from 18 AAC 50 as amended through September 7,2022


Note: The minor general permit for oil and gas drilling is in effect only after a proper notification of intent to operate and correct payment are received by the department. No paper permit is issued; however, the applicant must operate in accordance with the permit posted above. The permit can be downloaded and printed in order to have a copy on site.

MG2 Portable Oil and Gas Operations (North Slope)

MG2 Permit, forms, and supporting documents have been revised as of July 1, 2023.
