Final Particulate Matter 2.5 SIP Package

The Fairbanks PM2.5 Control Plan was originally adopted by the Department of Environmental Conservation on December 24, 2014. One of the amendments in the 2014 regulatory proposal, 18 AAC 50.030 - State Air Quality Control Plan, was finalized and filed on January 6, 2015. The remaining adopted regulations from the 2013 and 2014 regulatory proposals completed legal review and, with some changes in format, were finalized and filed by the Lieutenant Governor on January 29, 2015.

An initial version of the Plan was adopted by DEC on December 24, 2014 and transmitted to EPA on December 31, 2014 (EPA Transmittal Letter (PDF)). DEC supplemented its submittal to EPA with the final regulations on January 29, 2015 (EPA Transmittal Letter (PDF)).
