Juneau State Office Mailing Address Update

All mail sent to the DEC office in Juneau through the U.S. Postal Service must be addressed to P.O. Box 111800. Beginning October 1, all mail addressed to our Willoughby Avenue address will not be delivered and will be returned to sender by the Post Office. This change only impacts incoming mail to the Juneau office.

General Conformity - Interagency Consultation

While no procedures have been specified for General Conformity Interagency Consultation, a similar process has been used to ensure that applicability analyses follow procedures that are acceptable to agencies involved. Key steps include:

  • Contact information
  • Project description, location, etc.
  • Period of performance
  • Relevant SIP/Maintenance Plan
  • Mixture of activities foreseen (e.g., construction, operation, etc.)

It is highly recommended that the above information should be forwarded to ADEC for an interagency consultation prior to the conduct of an applicability analysis. ADEC will identify the relevant agencies, share the information with those agencies and, based on the consultation, determine which procedures should be employed in the applicability analysis.
