The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) proposes to renew an Air Quality Control Operating Permit to the Grind and Inject Facility (G&I), under Alaska Statutes 46.14 and regulation 18 AAC 50.

Location: Section 11, Township 11N, Range 14E, Umiat Meridian,
Activity: Crusher, Grinding Mill, Gas-fired Seawater Heater
BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc. submitted
a renewal application on July 5, 2007.
Emissions: The potential annual emissions of regulated air pollutants at the source will not exceed: 1 tons of Particulate Matter, 16 tons of Nitrogen Oxides, 2 tons of Sulfur Dioxide, 13 tons of Carbon Monoxide, and less than one ton of VOC. The total assessable emissions of regulated air pollutants are 33.5 tons per year.
ADEC Preliminary Review: Based on review of the application, ADEC
drafted a preliminary permit decision for the G&I.
