EMISSION FEE Annual Reporting

The emission fee reporting season for Fiscal Year 2006 is underway. Predictions of emissions for fiscal year 2006 are due at ADEC no later than March 31st, 2005. Invoices for Fiscal Year 2006 will be sent out in July 2005. Please do not send emission fee payments in along with your estimates. Please wait to make your payment until you receive an invoice from DEC.

The department appreciates the cooperation and assistance of industry in making the emissions predictions in a timely manner. The department is accepting emissions predictions for fiscal year 2006 between January 2005 and March 31st, 2005.

The Standard Permit Condition for emission fees was first adopted and became effective on April 2, 2002. The Standard Permit Condition was revised January 26, 2004, and became effective with the rewrite of the Air Quality Control Regulations on October 1, 2004. This standard permit condition appears in all permits issued by the Department. It requires that Annual Emission Fee estimates be submitted to the department no later than March 31st of each calendar year.

If you fail to meet this deadline for submitting emission fee estimates, the department must charge for the full Potential to Emit (PTE.)
