Problems/Comments

Reports indicate a transformer was removed from a small pond located in front of the school building. The school district is planning on filling the pond to make a playground for the school. Surface waters and sediment may be contaminated with PCBs. Actual presence of contamination not known. Ownership of the pond is split between the school district and the village corporation.
