Problems/Comments
Emcon conducted mass UST closures (1998) under contract to BCX, under contract to ADOT. No sampling of stockpiled soil was conducted, and elevated lead (although not likely a problem) was detected beneath waste oil tank. Shannon & Wilson returned to the site in 2000 to sample the stockpile and drinking water well. The stockpile was only above PQLs for one analyte; diesel range organics up to 1,140 mg/kg. This stockpile has since been used in excavation activities on-site. The drinking water well was tested for MTBE and results were non-detect.
