Open Comment Periods for Public Notices
Public comments are a protected right for the public to make their voices heard and provide input on certain proposed government actions. There are no special qualifications necessary to submit a comment. Anyone has the power to have their voice heard! You just need access to a computer or a pen and paper.
DEC's open comment periods are listed below. Follow each link to learn more about the proposed projects including associated documents or web pages. You'll notice a fillable form at the bottom of each page: This is the recommended submission method.
Please be aware all comments submitted via the fillable form will be immediately available to the public. Mailed comments will be manually uploaded as soon as staff workload allows.
