Pesticide Product Alerts & Recalls

Beginning June 4, 2011 there are new federal requirements for household rodenticides:

  1. Must be block or paste. Pellets and other small pieces that can be accidentally scattered are no longer allowed.
  2. Must be one pound or less in size.
  3. May not contain second generation anticoagulants (brodifacoum, bomadiolone, difenacoum, and difethialone).

Store may no longer sell products that do not meet these requirements - they must contact the manufacturer about returning the product. For more information, see EPA's Rodenticides page.
