Permit and IPM Requirements

Certain types of pesticide applications or projects require applicators to take additional measures or obtain permits and approvals. Please review the following project types. If your project fits any of these descriptions, you will need the permit or approval listed.

Aerial Application of pesticide from any tupe of aircraft or hovercraft, regardless of who owns the land being treated. Pesticide-use permit
Aquatic Application of pesticide to a water body, including creeks, rivers, streams, ponds, wetlands, and swamps, regardless of who owns the surrounding lands. Pesticide-use permit andย APDES permit
Public Project on Multiple Properties Pesticide program or project by a government entity (state, borough, or city) that applies pesticide to more than one property. Pesticide-use permit
State Owned Land Application of pesticide on more than one acre of state owned or leased land. IPM Plan
