Former gas/service station in Moose Creek with history of releases associated with operations. Five regulated storage tanks and two heating oil tanks previously existed on property and were removed in 2004 by DEC contractors. In addition, 400 cubic yards of contaminated material were removed from the site. One dilapidated building remains. Other buildings and structures were demolished. Identified for a brownfield site assessment by the DEC in 2004. Cleanup complete determination was issued in December 2018. Institutional controls established on the property in 2016 limit exposure to groundwater and soil contamination as well as future exposure to vapor intrusion.
