- Requested by the Kenai Peninsula Borough
The Borough wants this site cleaned up and health risks addressed. Contamination related to oil-field support service activities could affect neighboring residential wells. In 2006, DEC provided services to conduct both a Phase I and II assessment. Contaminant concentrations did not exceed DEC cleanup levels in soil and groundwater samples that were taken. No significant source of contamination or migration of contamination was identified. Cleanup complete determination issued in 2007.
