Technical Project Team – Definition

The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation's Contaminated Sites Program participates in a Technical Project Team, also called a TPT, to provide comprehensive and coordinated oversight for the investigation of contamination in the soil and groundwater at the Former Galena Forward Operating Location. The team consists of experts in the fields of engineering, hydrology and environmental chemistry from government and industry. The team meets in regularly scheduled Triad meetings, held about every two weeks, during the field work season, to evaluate data and facilitate changes and/or additions to approved work plans. The team also meets to discuss overall status and objectives of the project.
