Breadcrumbs

Members of the PWS Places of Refuge Workgroup (link initiates the download of a 31.4KB pdf format document listing workgroup members) included natural resource agency representatives, oil spill response professionals, and local government representatives. The workgroup was chaired by a Steering Committee.

Workgroup meetings were held regularly in Anchorage, Alaska. Meeting announcements, agendas, handouts, and meeting minutes were posted here as they were developed, to provide public access to the Workgroup record.

The Workgroup process was open to the public and public participation was welcomed and encouraged. For additional information regarding the workgroup process, membership, or participation, please contact Larry Iwamoto at dec.spar.ppor@alaska.gov.

The PWS Regional Citizens’ Advisory Council sought public input on the Potential Places of Refuge in PWS. Their web page may be accessed through the following link: http://www.pwsrcac.org/projects/MaritimeOps/refuge.html.
