Location The Freight Barge Baranof Provider was reported to be in Chatham Straits near Frederick Sound when the fire was discovered.
Product/Quantity This was a potential spill only. No product was released. ADEC was concerned about the impact of the fire to public health (smoke) and the potential for solid waste pollution.
Cause Potential spill only.
Time/Date of Incident Potential spill only. Reported to the USCG at 7:04 PM and to ADEC at 10:05 PM, November 6, 2006
