- ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc. estimates that 6 barrels of produced water was released. Two barrels remained inside the pig module, 3 barrels were released to gravel pad, and 1 barrel impacted tundra adjacent to the gravel pad. Produced water is a combination of water and crude oil.
- Cause
- Failed O-ring on the pig receiver.
