Active: Notice of Public Scoping for Possible Updates to DEC Regulations for Petroleum Cleanup Levels (18 AAC 75 and 18 AAC 78)

The Contaminated Sites Program issued a Notice of Public Scoping from August 25, 2016 to January 31, 2017, seeking input from affected parties on possible changes to the regulations related to petroleum cleanup levels and how they are calculated for spills, leaking underground storage tanks and contaminated sites. Comments received are posted below. The department is currently reviewing the input and researching options and alternatives suggested by commenters.
