Discharging 3.0 nm or more from shore is no longer covered by AKG520000. Permittees are required to submit NOI requests for authorization to EPA to obtain coverage under the new permit, AKG524000.
Offshore processors should apply for coverage under AKG523000 if they plan to discharge seafood waste between 0.5 and 3.0 nm from shore or baseline. See Quick Links for more information.
