Problems/Comments

Hangar 2 is a large building used for the repair and shelter of USCG helicopters, located on the seaplane apron at the northern end of Inner Womens Bay. Associated with Hangar 2 are a metal shop, and engine repair shop, a pump shop, and drum and satellite accumulation areas. No release of hazardous wastes are known or documented. Wash water from helicopter and engine cleaning is believed to be the most significant of potential releases from the hangar. Samples were analyzed for selected metals, VOCs, SVOCs, and TPH. Drains are connected to the sanitary sewer system, not the storm drain system. Last staff assigned was Patrick-Riley.
