Problems/Comments

Leaking one inch glycol heating line caused contamination of soil and water. Line was repaired and the contaminated water and soil were excavated. No confirmation sampling was conducted. Site inspection of the facility found the area to be highly contaminated with crude oil. Site assessment of the facility is pending. The soils are being remediated at the Clean Soils facility in Anchorage. Estimated amount of soil to be remediated is one drum of contaminated soil. The amount of remaining contamination is unknown.
