Sent a letter to current owner/operator, Aleut Enterprises Corporation, informing them of a change in ADEC project manager. Letter also outlined two areas of concern; 1) Contaminated Soil Stockpile and 2) Road Ditch - South Side of Reeve Avenue. Both areaas require additional information or site work. Requested copies of all data, reports and correspondence related to these 2 areas that occurred since 1999. Once the Department receives the additional information, we will know if any additional site work is required to reach closure. If no additional work has been done, a site assessment and stockpile sampling will be required to determine current site conditions in order to know if additional site work is required. |

Aleut Enterprises has hired Kanaga to perform environmental work, in response to ADEC's January 14, 2016 letter concerning the Cold Bay Frostey Fuel Tank Farm site (ADEC File# 2538.38.015). Kanaga also submitted a Public Records Request, in order to obtain copies of records in ADEC's project file. |
