Problems/Comments
Diesel contaminated soils due to an undetermined amount of heating oil released from a leaking storage tank. Soils excavated from this site has been undergoing remediation in a treatment cell within Bethel Fuel Sales' tank farm. Last staff assigned was Alam.

The analytical data presented in RSE's September 10, 1998 letter indicates that the contaminant concentrations in the soil do not exceed the cleanup levels established for this site. Based on this information and in accordance with 18 AAC 75 regulations, the Department requires no further remedial action at this site. The then property owner and the responsible party, Mr. Silva died years ago in Hawaii. RP's attorney in 1992, Douglas Dorland, is not involved with this case in 1999.
