Poor remediation practices: Piles not properly covered and bermed. Last staff assigned was Janes.

| 1/7/2002 | Update or Other Action | Project Tickler Update - Email sent to Public Works Director Hugh Bevan asking if he knows status of site. Randy Rice, formerly of DEC, visited the site on April 7 1993. He reported to Dick Smith, CBS Public Works Director, that soils were not being managed in accordance with CBS authorization to store and treat petroleum contaminated soils. Apparently CBS set up the facility in 1992 to allow the public a place to treat and dispose of soils. On 7/23/93 Randy listed the treatment facility as a contaminated site.
