Problems/Comments
A leaking 6K gallon underground heating oil storage tank was excavated leaving contaminated soils and groundwater contamination under the school. DRO, RRO, and BTEX detected. Only DRO above regulatory cleanup levels. An estimated 125 cubic yards of soil is contaminated. The school district has agreed to provide a program for remediation. The contractor is R and M Consultants, Inc. The school has commissioned an on-going air quality study. Last staff assigned was Frechione.
