Problems/Comments
The New Transportation Building was completed in 1989 and was the location of the NSGA fire station and transportation building. UST 10590 was installed in 1988 beneath the concrete floor of the building. The used oil tank was connected by aboveground and belowground piping to a aboveground dump box inside the building. The tank was removed in 1993. DRO was the only contaminant detected in appreciable amounts. The site was not retained in the initial screening due to contamination levels below screening values. A method 4 risk assessment was performed on the site demonstrating that the contamination was below risk based levels. NOFA selected in the OU A ROD.
