Problems/Comments

Two separate releases of heating oil causing contaminated soil and impacting groundwater. In 11/95 670 gallons of heating oil released at generator building, 79 cubic yards of contaminated soil stockpiled on site in release investigation, estimated 200-300 cubic yards of soil remains. Groundwater contamination not confirmed. In 4/94 diesel was released several times from day tank into roof drain system and soils around House Number 2. 300-400 cubic yards of contaminated soil removed from site and remediated in release investigation, unknown amount of soil remains. DRO contamination of groundwater is confirmed. Two spills combined into one. Other Reckey is 1994230120302, LC = 14995160. Two on-site water production wells supply the facility, believed to be 100-150 feet below ground surface. Depth to groundwater fluctuates between 6 and > 27 feet below ground surface and generally flows southwest. Buried power lines, water service lines and fuel lines, are adjacent to both the Generator Building and House Number 2 Site. KPB Parcel Number is 14532008. Latitude and longitude is only approximate.
