Problems/Comments

Diesel fuel was released from a 5000-gallon underground storage tank that was in use as a heating oil/emergency generator fuel tank from 1968 until the time of removal in 1993. The fact the UST also served as a source of fuel for the Kodiak Island Borough emergency power generators means that this site is defined as a LUST site, under current State and Federal regulations and interpretations. Problem/Comment statement composed by Paul Horwath, on 2/4/2011.
