Problems/Comments
300 gallon Diesel Emergency Generator Tank was removed on July 31, 1997. 42.98 tons of petroleum contaminated soil was excavated from the site and treated by CleanSoils Alaska, Inc. A letter dated March 13, 1998 from ADEC (Lynn Bush) states that "no further action is required for the 300 gallon emergency generator tank UST". Completed review of the Site Assessment Report showing the remaining contamination to be below the most stringent migration to groundwater clean-up levels. A closure letter will be prepared and the status of this site will be updated to Cleanup Complete once that letter is approved. Comment added 12-23-08.
