Problems/Comments
1,000 cubic yards of soil excavated and stockpiled. Three USTs removed in 1993. Extensive hydrocarbon contamination noted under a joint for dispensing piping assocaited with tank #3. Analysis confirmed 5 samples above mcl for benzene. Majority of contamination removed in over excavation. Contaminated soil stockpile place in remediation cell in 1993.
