Problems/Comments

On December 22, 1992, ADEC was informed that two underground storage tanks systems (one 1,000 gallon gasoline tank & one 3,000 gallon av-gas tank) had failed tightness tests. These tanks, plus a third 1,000 gallon tank were removed in 1993. ADEC records indicate that a Soils Excavation and Disposal Becharof Refuge Compound Work Plan was considered an “interim removal action” and was received and reviewed in 2005. ADEC cannot find any record of a site assessment or release investigation being completed for the site.
